A genocide occurs when a large group of people are killed deliberately, usually targeting a particular religious or ethnic group. The Holocaust is what usually comes to mind when the word genocide is mentioned, made famous by many films and books.

However, there are many other countries that have suffered the same fate, some in gargantuan proportions. The objective of these posters is to raise awareness and the public on the different countries that have undergone genocides, with each poster holding the national colors of the particular location for greater recollection and association.
